Production to Begin Once Again on The Delorean

Decades after Back to the Future made The Delorean one of the most well known (although impractical) car models in the country, its infamous design is once again about to be go back into production. The production run seems to have been a long term goal for CEO Stephen Wynne, who apparently has been wanting to produce these cars again since they were taken off the market in the early 80’s. Wynne was quoted as saying to a local news station in Humble, TX (KPRC): “It’s fantastic. It’s a game-changer for us. We’ve been wanting this to happen,”

300 Cars will be produced, and will retail at $100,000 a piece. Now if that isn’t cashing in on their Back to the Future success, I don’t know what is.
