Fox Targets R-Rating for The Wolverine 3

Following the major succes Deadpool already had at the box-office, despite a R-rating, 20th Century Fox has decided to make the last Hugh Jackman-helmed Wolverine-movie R-rated.

Fox previously did a R-rated comic book movie in 2015 with Kingsman: The Secret Service, which also turned out to be a surprise hit and Kingsman 2 is coming in 2017. The Wolverine 3 R-rating news comes from a flyer Fox handed out to guests at their Toy Fair presentation. The official logo for Wolverine 3 is also featured above the theatrical release date and home entertainment release date. We don’t know a lot about this movie yet, but we will keep you updated on casting news and other news which will come once they start filming it this year for a March 2017-release.
