Iron Fist Rumored To Debut in Marvel’s Luke Cage

While we wait for Marvel to officially announce the casting of Finn Jones for Danny Rand (they would have debunked it by now if it wasn’t true, but it’s official once Marvel.com releases an official statement), everyone has been wondering if we have to wait until Marvel’s Iron Fist to meet the character. According to Umberto Gonzalez (Heroic Hollywood) he will debut in Marvel’s Luke Cage. During an appearance on Collider Heroes, Gonzalez said the following:

”Yes he is. Episode 13. That’s why it was announced, or else it would have leaked … They shot him last week.”

Luke Cage Iron Fist

It makes sense for Marvel to quietely leak the casting themselves to announce it officially in a couple of weeks. Let’s hope it’s true, it would make sense to debut him there with the Power Man-Iron Fist connection in the comics, and that it’s not another rumor like the one where Daredevil would show up in Jessica Jones Season 1 Episode 13 that did not turn out to be true. If he shows up at the end of Luke Cage Season 1, it could of course be just an appearance of Danny Rand without the costume. Luke Cage could then return the favor and appear in Marvel’s Iron Fist next year.

Marvel’s Daredevil Season 2 will premiere on March 18, followed by Marvel’s Luke Cage later this year. Marvel’s Iron Fist is expected to release next year and with a showrunner and lead actor already attached, it won’t be long until it starts production.
