Has Thanos Been Confirmed For An Appearance In ‘Thor: Ragnarok’?

The same MCU leak that divulged Peter Dinklage’s potential role in Avengers: Infinity War and Eva Green’s possible talks with Marvel about playing Death has also revealed another juicy tidbit: Thanos is definitely going to appear in Thor: Ragnarok.

It has been rumored for almost a year that Thanos would be appearing in Thor’s third film, with all evidence pointing to his inclusion. As of a 4chan leak that went public recently, it appears that one of the tidbits listed is that Thanos will, without a doubt, be in Ragnarok.

According to the leak, Josh Brolin will be reprising the role, so it must be a more significant role than something that could be done with CGI.

In Ragnarok, Thor will be banished to a planet, without Mjolnir, where he must become a gladiator and fight other aliens. Hulk will be in the film, and Hela is the antagonist, as she is attempting to cause Ragnarok – the Norse word for the destruction of the universe.

It’s worth noting that although this report should clearly be taken with a grain of salt, a similar leak on 4chan took place over the summer releasing information and plot details for both Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and Thor: Ragnarok. Most of the rumors that were listed have since been proven completely accurate, while the remainders simply have not yet been addressed.

Are you excited to hear that Thanos will be in the film? Do you think the leak is BS? Make sure to let us know your thoughts down below in the comments.

Thor: Ragnarok is set to premier in theaters on November 3rd, 2017.
