‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’, His Goal Is To Become An Avenger!

Spider-Man: Homecoming will be the third iteration of the web slinging hero on the big screen. This version has rightfully been compared to the films before it, but already shows strong differences. Aside from his age, and the time at which he acts as Spider-Man, this version has the Avengers. In a very kid like fashion, Peter wants to join them.

Tom Holland, the actor who brings this version of Peter Parker to life, recently talked about Peter, and the differences between the past  and current films.

I think the difference now is that Peter Parker finally has an all-time goal, and his goal is to become an Avenger. Everything he does, even though he’s doing it for the right reasons, is done so that one day he can become an Avenger and prove himself to Tony Stark. And I think we’ve never really seen Spider-Man with that kind of motivation before.

We have seen Peter take on some grueling opponents in the past films, but becoming an Avenger is a different kind of goal. A good goal, as we know from the trailers that he’s trying his hardest to be like Tony Stark, trying to put the world on his shoulders.
