The new Spider-Man film is less than a month away from hitting theaters. Stars such as Tom Holland, the newest Peter Parker, will no doubt be busy with promotional gigs, screenings and interviews. Holland, however, will be even busier than that going forward. This new film, according to Holland, will be the first in a new Spider-Man trilogy!

There has only been one cinematic trilogy for the webslinger so far, almost two. This one might prove to be a bit different though. As part of the MCU, Spider-Man will now have any number of other characters to draw on for stories. Tony Stark will be in this one, but who knows who will show up in future films?

Holland recently spoke about Homecoming, where he spilled the beans about future films.

There is still a lot of room for Peter Parker and Spider-Man especially to grow in the next two movies. He’s definitely not the finished article by the end of Spider-Man: Homecoming and I really look forward to exploring the different ways he can grow up and go through puberty I guess. It’s going to be an exciting couple of movies… Yeah, there’ll be Spider-Man 2 and 3, it won’t be Homecoming 2 and 3.

Do you think this trilogy will fair better than the last? Let us know in the comments below!
