‘Arrow’ S06: What About Laurel’s Memory?

Arrow’s sixth season will soon be with us, and there has already been a good deal of exciting information dropped about it. We know of a few characters coming back, some exciting changes to the cast, and we’ll only get more from here on out!

One of the bigger pieces involves Katie Cassidy coming back as Laurel Lance. Now, this Laurel will be the Black Siren version, so in a sense, pretty evil. Will there be hope though, or will Laurel be a villain from here on out?

Arrow co-showrunner Wendy Mercile recently spoke about what to expect this season from Laurel.

I don’t know if there’s any question about whether or not the [idea] of redemption will come up; it has to. Her father is there. Oliver is there. Everyone is going to be asking whether or not it’s possible to find a little piece of Laurel, the Laurel Lance they knew and loved, in there somewhere.

It will certainly be difficult for team Arrow to just sit by, and watch their former friend be a villain. Similar to how Caitlin Snow is now Killer Frost, she had her whole team try and edge her out of it. While it may still happen down the road, it will be a bumpy ride to get there.

Would you like to see Laurel stay a villain, or bounce back to team Arrow? Let us know in the comments below!
