Review: NO ROMANCE #2 | A Little More NSFW, Just As Funny
Out this Wednesday 3rd is No Romance #2, where the fun and quirky story continues of our three young men and their attempts at building their love lives.
Like the opening issue, this follows the format of the three friends in the pub recalling their last date. It’s a cool format if it sticks, but from the exciting tease at the issue’s end it’s looking like No Romance #3 will be breaking that mold. No spoilers!
This issue is a little more NSFW than the first – don’t let the art mislead you – and just as funny. Speaking of art, it still hits the great tone-setting standard set by the first issue, as does the character work – very subtly developing the female leads and expanding on the lives of our three guys.
If you haven’t checked this series out yet, it’s definitely recommended here at ComicBookGlobal. Here’s our first review.
Relationships are never easy. Just ask Matt, Dave and Jon. Join these three 30-something friends for a pint in the local pub as they recall their latest relationship triumphs and mishaps. Each one of them attempts to smoothly navigate their way through a relationship and hide the fact, that like most of us, they have no idea what they are doing.
NO ROMANCE will run for 5 issues, and is releasing bi-weekly on Comixology.
